Was that from Irongate carpark rather than the barn. either way it's not a bad time to say you weren't racing. I wasn't too far away running to Upper Midhope and back

A walk today, from Ribblehead over Whernside via the walkers route then the 3Ps course as far as the the head of the Ingleborough zig-zags, then left, round Simon Fell, over Park Fell and down by the railway cottages, then back to Ribblehead.

Lots of snow and ice around still. The drift on the Whernside ridge is still up to the height of the wall in parts and will freeze hard again this week. The top of the zig-zags is banked out too. Had to sneak up the left on v steep frozen turf.

3 hours 53 (well I did jog some of the downs if only to warm up!)

Iron Gate. 0.8 of a mile less, but on the plus side, less packs of dogs to dodge through the woods near the car park. Saw one or two folk on the way down as they were on the way up, clutching route descriptions. Some MR folk were up too, keeping an eye out for us.

5 hilly road miles - getting back into it after lazy fortnight mostly taken up with moving house. Pleased with how good I felt - the snow runs pre-house move must've done some good

Yes the MR guys were Wayne and Pete. Wayne is a Sarda handler so he may have had is dog with him.

Hopefully I'll get up there tomorrow - ankle was a tad unwell today after turning it on Win hill yesterday. Sounds like there's more snow tomorrow, so will be even more wintery.

Last night's run. Not quite as quick as IDP

    6.3mi, 750ft, 51.20

Followed by 45 burpees (without the handclap).

Got a club headtorcher over Pendle tonight. Can't wait!
