Great run with Clayton in the woods and fields around Pendle. That's round, didn't touch it once! Didn't have a clue where I wss. Brisk pace, bit cold and snowy. Out for just over an hour. Felt great.

Usual jib round the 7mile training loop, thats it till saturdays race now, except for the Bleep test tomorrow down at the raf.
my stair-reps are a bit like the bleep test: I set off doing them at 2m30sec (up & down), but I can't yet keep to that time for more than about 7 at the moment. So although I keep going, the reps get a little bit slower.
My aim is to be able to do 15 keeping to that rate.
5 miles 1200' lunch time run to Top of Pike and back.
No country for old men.
Gentle 34min 4.5mi run round streets of Manchester this morning.
Not sure I'm gonna be back in time to go out with KCAC tonight tho'.

Ok so it was my first run out in the hills since the Hebden. Really had to force myself to get out into a pretty grim looking day. Had a slow 11 miler in the freezing fog/ice/slush/snow from Cod Beck reservoir, Osmotherley up to Carlton Bank top and back. Felt ok after.

Short run (bit under 2 miles) in the slush with the dog, followed by 35 minutes doing the core strength and yoga workouts on Wii Fit - surprisingly good workout if you pick the right exercises...
p.s. that looks like it'll sting in the shower Stolly!
Too much snow still on Kinder for my liking so I did the Cracken Edge race route from my house too add a couple of miles on. Very slushy but way more fun than the actual race :-)
Fantastic soft light over Whaley Bridge and the rez.
Stolly, it's only a flesh wound.
