    9.5 miles mixed road and trail run with club, very slow and stayed with pack.

    Now then Steampig. Progress not easy as I've had 10 days in South Africa and two weeks in China this spring, which severely hampers training continuity. Got a week in Vietnam too soon but feel like I'm getting stronger

    How you doing? Are you doing a bit? Any races planned?

    Been up Skiddaw via Carl Side ridge and back down over Bakestall and Cockup today followed by late lunch in the Lakeland Pedlar. Rest tomorrow

    Good to hear from you, just taking it as it comes, although i have somehow agreed to run Osmotherley with MG!!!!! she tricked me into it.

    Another public holiday in Austria today! (yes, they have quite a few)

    Event: 21st annual uphill race from village of Laaben to summit of Schoepfl. At 893mtrs this top is the highest point in the Vienna Woods.
    Course: 25% tarmac, 50% forest path, 25% mountain track
    Distance: 7.5kms / 550mtrs +
    Result: 2V60 49:05
