    Re: Today's Training

Technically i did some training today, 20mins round the nature reserve and first run back after my 5 wks off. Last week was a warm up on the gym treadmills but that doesn't count. God, how can anyone tolerate those things, how can it possibly be more favourable than the real thing? Ian what's wrong, had a fall?

No fall, still feel very fit but some details here http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showt...384#post348384

Will get out for a pacier run tomorrow and then a mid pack finish at the trunce maybe on Monday. I do feel the need to at least try a bit but I will run as long as I feel good. Don't want to mess up the family holidays which if I relapse will be over due to no insurance.

A faster 5 miles this morning HR touched 150 which is still low for me but it felt tough enough, I will be on the start line of the Trunce Tomorrow, won't be going flat out but will run round sensibly.... even for me

Stupid nav errors turned an attempt at the 'Gritstone Anytime' into a training run. Fluffed the approach to the Roaches & dropped down to Buxton when trying to go up Burbage. Still I managed 18.5 miles & 4050 feet up and down.
