Great little trip out over Alderman - Binn Green - Ashway Rocks - Thomas Platt Cross - Doves Edge - Fox Stone (descent) and up through plantation back home - great stuff

Just a 4m run/walk with dog but total mileage= 48m for the week, not covered that distance in a week for nearly 12 months. Enthusiasm is restored.

Saw one or two having a recce. Why can't large parties of walkers agree on a side of the track to walk on when they see someone coming the other way? We were out that way on the Dark Peak Nav course in the morning-lunch. afternoon was a trip up on to Howden edge from salters. Saw Brent in his usual place by the fire in the pub in the evening....

Aye but not as much as Merrylegs! :w00t:
26 mile for last week inc a 9 miler (which was very slow I hasten to add! )
So now ready to go into double figures in a long run this weekend.
I'm trying to follow a marathon training schedule to keep me right mileage wise. Just need to start throwing some hills into the equation and I should be reet in 14 weeks time.
