On the above dates, I will:-
1) complete the Cumbria Traverse in under 7hrs 57 mins
2) Continue the run to Shap (Mother lives there)
3) Have bar meal and a beer, sleep
4) Early start next day, Run GENTLY from Shap back across the fells careful not to retrace steps.

Obviously the first 8 hrs will be a bit of a grunt, but thereafter will be a more sociable pace.
For any takers in part or otherwise, the beers at The Greyhound, Shap are on me.
I will arrange a buffet at the end.
