    Some good responses saying head for the Red Cuillin, and I'll second Graeme78, there's a fantastic 22 mile run to be had on the Trotternish ridge, heading from the far north tip of the peninsular and running all the way down to Portree. A few of us are heading over to do it in June - very runnable in places with a reasonable amount of ascent, although not really any long climbs.

    I will add my vote for the Red Cuillin. There is that constant climb up the hill that looks like a volcano (Glamaig) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glamaig The same angle the whole way up - savage. The ridge itself is then very runnable. The black cuillin themselves would be impossible to run.
