    Bluebell Trail 10m 6th May

Here is a testing little run that Stainland Lions host.
It has a fair hill after about 4 mile (600ft in half a mile) although it is only a trail race it has a bit for all runners.
Karl Gray of Calder Valley set a new course record of 63.09 last year with Carol Greenwood of Holmfirth setting a new ladies record of 79.18

The venue is only 5 minutes off the M62 Junction 24

I think that might be underselling a bit stagger, Trooper Lane is a beast of a hill for a road - can't be many steeper ones in Calderdale.

trooper lane is good fun can't see what the fuss is about! at least when you get to the top there is a water station

don't forget the river crossing at the end at least you will finish with a splattering of water..

for the record i enjoyed the race last year, doubtful this year as some of us ain't fit!

Your doing the 3 peaks and you can't tangle with a molehill in Calderdale. Tut, tut, tut Rhino you're a fell runner so trail running is just a walk in the park

Stagger, I have posted my entry this morning.
my boss tells me Trooper Lane was where the Walkers crisp'Hovis' type advert with Gary Lineker on the bike, was filmed. Correct ??

Quite true Rhino, but it will be more famous when you run to the top of it.

Might see you Sunday, Mrs Stagger is No 418 so say hello if your passing.
PS She is also our Treasurer so you could be up for a Bluebell discount.

More famous when I run to the top of it and have to be placed in the oxygen tent !
I'll keep an eye out for Mrs. Stagger
Let me just concentrate on the Three Peaks for now
