    Bad News Slippery Stones

Zoe has asked me to pass on the bad news to his friends that Darren Unwin (Slippery Stones) had a severe stroke last Monday(3rd). Shocking considering he is not even close to being a vet.

I've had regular contact with Zoe over the last few days and, thankfully, Darren is starting to recover. Over the last two days he has started to talk and move his legs.

The latest report is that "Darren is alot brighter again tonight the staff can't believe the progress of someone who has had such a severe stroke", I'm sure that won't surprise those of you who know how determined he is to achieve any thing he set his mind to.

Darren was a member of both Dark Peak FR, Penistone FPR, Norton Wheelers and was regularly seen racing around the peak before moving to Scotland last year.

I'm sure you all join me in sending all the best to Darren, Zoe and Phoebe for speedy and complete recovery.

I'll post more details on his recovery as they come in
