Nope!, not a new run!
On another (Land Rover orientated) forum that I use, Police driving was recently discussed, during the course of it, I thought about this famous drive.
Does anyone remember seeing the 'London Liver Run'??
In May 1987, two Rover SD1's travelled from junction 7 of the M25 to the Cromwell Hospital (both were V8's, as 'the Met' usually had the 2600 varient)
It was 29 miles, & they had 35 minutes to complete the journey in!!! (& no Sat-Nav in those days!)
At 6 miles to go, they got 2 motorcycle outriders to act as 'gate-openers'/'blockers' (BMWs??, & they got thrashed so much that one blew!)

That's a fantastic piece of Control Room planning & working together
(I just thought, some of you might like to see it?)
And also;
'Trumpton' take a Range Rover through London, that V8 sounds good!!! (dash-layout points towards an early 90's model)
