    Joss Naylor Round Route

Does anyone have a link to a map for the JNR? Even better, an electronic trace (like those Bob has provided for the BGR) would be great.

I think this is about as official as is available.

The gofar site switched ISP last Autumn - the JNC page has some minor updates while several new routes have been added to the menu.

    JNC link here -http://gofar.rwimbush.purplecloud.net/jossnaylorlc.html

I see some folk do the Bob Graham, Paddy Buckley and Charlie Ramsay rounds consecutively. I feel really insignificant now!

Yes, really looking forward to it Peter. I've never assisted on anything like this before, then like buses a JNC and BGR assist both arrive within a fortnight.

Did I see you doing 3 legs?

Good luck to your Mrs, Mick and JC!

p.s. thanks for the very useful link MM. Previously I had searched high and low and didn't find them.

Yes I am doing leg 1+2. Then getting round to Wasdale to join on the last leg while you are keeping the trio fed and watered.

    Re: Joss Naylor Round Route

Can I ask you to post some thoughts and detail of your experiences after this JNC attempt please guys?

All this recent BG activity has got my imagination going overtime but I figure that at my age a full round is out of reach.
But a JNC round might just be a possibility - a very vague possibility - but that's the stuff of dreams......
    isn't it?

Anyway, I'm sure I'm not alone in being curious about the scale of the challenge?
    Thanks

For what they are worth, my thoughts after my own attempt are here http://fss55at55.blogspot.com/2009/0...rfect-day.html There are some other posts with more details for each leg. It really is a grand day out on a great route across the Lakes.

Thanks for reminding me about your blog Ian. Some great stuff there.
I remember looking at it last summer when I was beginning my comeback and figuring just how ambitious was ambitious and where that spilled over into stupidity.

I think that at that time I had the JNC on the wrong side of that dividing line, but I'm starting to think that if one year back into running is measured by completing the Lakeland 50 (fingers crossed ), how do I measure a second year?
