During descents in particular i've always favoured speed and left control to chance to a greater degree, and i'm beginning to consider whether my propensity for this habit might be leading me down a dark alley. Most of the time i have limited control of my legs and ankles and my breathing is so fast my mind is screaming at me to back off, i've also been aware that i don't lift my legs sufficiently and tend to trip over small rocks and tussocks. I'd love to know if anyone thinks this is normal as i get such a buzz off it at the end i just go back for more every time .
