    Kilian - Trans-Pyrenees

Snr Jornet has been at it again.

850 kms with over 42,000 metres of ascent in 8 days across the Pyrenees.

The UTMB should feel like a short jog after that.

I'd love to see what he'd make of a BG

    Re: Kilian - Trans-Pyrenees

A very quick one! Assuming a few things:

    1) He takes the optimum lines.
    2) In order to achieve the above he is suitably guided by people with knowledge of the route.
    3) The people providing the above guidance can keep up with him.

From what I know of his background I doubt he'd be super fast (i.e. record standadrd) on the descents, but the climb wouldn't phase him and he has a background of speed over distance (e.g. UTMB record). BB's record is amazing and who knows if Killian could break it, but if anyone could...

Should be interesting to see how he does in the WS100. Sadly Jez has had to bomb out, but I think Tony will beat him.

From reading some of his blog he certainly puts the miles in... 208 in a week!
