    Sedbergh championship

With a big field I've heard they are making the start a bit more user friendly. Does anyone know exactly how bad any hold ups will be in the frist 1/2 mile or so. Even a field gate would put runners at a serious disadvantage early on in a short race. Ennerdale had a stile early on.

Deek i think they will put seperate races on for the Men and Women, but you will set off on a road for a while then turn up a pretty narrow farm track which maybe abit of a squeeze, but dont be fooled into starting fast it is a long four miles its quite a runnable course so take it steady at the start.
I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.

The rules seem to say that anyone finishing within 3 minutes of the winner gets 20 quid. Why don't we all run round together and then have a meal and a couple of pints in the Dalesman with the winnings.
