I did a variation on this route on Saturday. Starting from Hayfield rather than Edale, then missing out the descent to the YHA and climb of Jagger's Clough because I wanted to be back in time for the rugby! (I also went straight up Ringing Roger, instead of Grindsbrook).

It was a great day out and I measured it at about 35km and 2000m ascent, so shaved a fair bit off the full stats (which I think is about 43km and 2500m). Took me about 5.5 - 6hrs.

I'll be looking at 8.5 hrs if all goes well
if weather forecast deteriorates might cancel

Work again on Sunday. I'm off Mon and Tues if you end up delaying it again.

might join you for half on Tuesday, just to get out of the house. Snake Inn layby is a good place to start. If you go for the full thing then Edale and it's shop makes a good half way stop.

If I'm on Kinder it'll be Monday Ian. Got a long bike ride planned now for Tuesday.
