Now....if you've done a BG...or you've quite simply gone from Scafell Pike to Scafell, in your opinion which is the best way to go.
Ive hopefully created a poll here...but ive never done that before.

Lord's rake is dangerous, and I know I'd use up too much nervous energy getting up Broad Stand even with helpers, so Foxes tarn every time for me.
FullMoonAdict mentioned a dodgy Foxes Tarn shortcut (banned on Great Lakes Race) but I've never tried that.
I'd go for the afforementioned dodgy Foxes Tarn short-cut.

As my BG was very much on the spur of the moment I hadnt got a rope or owt for broad stand so we went down to foxes tarn.
Luke Appleyard (Wharfedale)- quick on the dissent
If you want the straightest way then Broad Stand. If you want an interesting way then I'd say that going via Foxes Tarn (with short cut) is the better option as the East Buttress is very impressive. Lord's Rake/West Wall traverse is also interesting but not as much as going via Foxes Tarn.

Without me you'd be one place nearer the back
Seems like foxes is winning so far.
