    Baildon Carnival

Not in the FRA calendar, though it would qualify as a proper, albeit 'mild', fell race.

The Baildon Carnival Canter takes place on Sat 12th July, at 2.15. It goes from the gala field near Baildon RUFC, around Hope Hill towards Dobrudden, up to the trig point and back. It's all off road, similar to the Eldwick Gala race but approaches the hill from the opposite side. 3.4 miles, £4, EOD or advance: forms at http://www.ukresults.net/forms/080712baildon.pdf

Multiterrainer will be there, as will I. Any other takers?
Anyone wanting further info, please ask.

Perhaps we ought to keep looping round; we could take all the spot prizes.

Well that was a nice fast splash around and over Baildon Moor/Hope Hill.

Thanks to Tussockface's (good to meet you again) clubmates at Baildon Runners for the organisation, marshalling etc etc..

No, but a friend, Dave, usually does this race while down there on holiday.

    Regards,

    Max.

No Dave from Kilbarchan this year, but I see he was well up the field last year.

Any idea when/where photos will be posted TF? (I'm assuming on Baildon Runners website)

I'll try to find out. The website isn't hot on photos - I'm still waiting for a set of Bluebell Trail photos to appear...

Is that Dave Mewse who always does the Off-Road Half Marathon (Baildon Boundary Way)?
