Only a qualified qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon can tell you for sure. I know a good one. PM me if you want his number.

Do you need to be doubly qualified for that then??

Is this person in the bolton area??

Beaumont hospital. But at 150 quid a pop, you want to be sure its not just a passing niggle.

That'd be knee pain related to the pregnancy causing you that stomach cramp then!

But seriously, it's never one thing at a time is it! As well as the other op I had recently (stomach cramp thread) I also have had knee surgery this year! It's the multiple injury club reserved for unlucky sods like us.

Look on the bright side though, you can recover from both at the same time, halving the time!

    All the best!

My friend had similar but it turned out to be referred pain from a hip problem. I would advise you to seek advice from a physio in the first instance.

Knew I should have bloody stuck to golf!

    Well bit of an update!

Did Belmont fell on saturday and was fine, no probs going up or coming down the hill, thought it had gone!

Sunday I did 16 on the road and thou it was a bit iffy at times nothing to worry about until the last 1 mile toward home which was downhill, felt like someone had stuck a knife in the bloody thing!
Took a short cut back to avoid the last decent.
Went to the gym after and doing leg extensions thought my right was weaker than the left so went back yesterday and it didn't appear to be the case so guessing it was just because my right knee was sore!
Think I'll be having a chat with the coach tonight about finding a decent physio in bolton (there goes that new set of wheels for my bike then) unless I can get some TV money from being a bloke and up the duff????
