    First Album/Single

Following on from the other 'First Albums' thread, this one's for owning up to the first album/single you owned...

First Single - Long Haired Lover form Liverpool - Jimmy Osmond
First Album - Inflammable Material - Stiff Little Fingers

    (Not much difference there then!)

You guys must be so embarrassed. Luckily my first album and single were absolute classics:

    Kiss - Crazy nights

    Shaking Stevens - Green Door

    Yellow River - Christie
Reggae Chartbusters 1971 - Various (my first LP)

Both courtesy of my aunties when I was about 6.

I did nick my uncles album, Cream, Disraeli Gears though at about the same time, I loved this one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwEPC...eature=related

Regatta de Blanc - The Police was my first album.

    Re: First Album/Single

I never bought singles, being a miserly skinflint even at the age of 14 I started taping songs off the radio, but the first one I taped was Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty

The first album I owned, I asked for as a xmas present and was Out Of The Blue - ELO, and the first album I bought with my own money was Back In Black - ACDC
