After almost 4 weeks of being missing we found our 18 month cat Loki living wild on a farm about a mile away. He's lost loads of weight (obviously not a good hunter!) but seems none the worse for his adventure. He's going to be grounded for a least a week to hopefully drill into his tiny little skull where he lives!... any tips for stopping cats wandering? He has been done.
Thats good news, I know i'd be distraught if my cat went missing.

Cats are sooo dumb sometimes (and people think they are clever). He must've just wandered off and got lost! Bet he was glad to see you! I once had a cat that went out the front door one day instead of the back.... Took him a week to find his way back round to the back door and he was all dirty with twigs in his fur
Not sure there is much you can do other than ground him for a week or so, like you say - and hopefully he won't wander too far again!I would love to do this to our cats to see where they go... Although I expect it is only as far as next door but one's over grown garden - my moggies are very lazy!
