Thread: Morgans March

    Morgans March

Our very own BGSec is doing some little jog or other somewhere warm and sunny - beats me as to why he's had enough of drizzle and clag and fancies running at altitude!

His thread seems to have fallen down a few pages in the long distance section so for those of you that don't visit that part of the forum I'd like to draw your attention to here...

    http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showt...51-CCC-for-YCR

    here..

    and more importantly...here

Hopefully we can help Morgan raise oodles of pennies for a very worthy cause, please take time of you can to read his story and of course wish him well on his jolly jaunt!

All the very best Morgan.....don't be dropping your Cliff bars!!

Thanks Emma. Closing in on £900 on the JG site, so I may have to lift the target!

And I did lose a Clif bar coming down from Mickledore; probably when I had my only real slip of the day, right in front of a couple of walkers.

But at least I didn't drop it on my toe, which would have been a much more serious matter......

Good training on Saturday, even if the weather in Cham will be somewhat warmer!

    Thanks Rich.

    Re: Morgans March

Really pleased to say that the funds raised has passed the £1,000 mark..............so I've re-set the target to £2,000.

Plenty of time left to persuade a few more Yorkshire folk in particular to part with their hard-earned brass.

    Re: Morgans March

Just passed the £1,500 mark, so I am very happy indeed!

Time to chase up a few who have promised but not yet delivered (says he) before leaving on Tuesday.

Any further contributions especially from Yorkshire folk to the work of their dedicated cancer research charity gratefully received.
