    Wainwrights by Train and Bus

There's an interesting article in the August 2010 issue of Strider by Steve Almond who lives in Bolton and set out to complete the Wainwrights for the second time when he retired at 60. He didn't use a car to get to his start points or from his end points but used Train and Bus instead . Took him 45 trips over 2 years and 7 months to complete them. His bus pass and senior railcard got put to very good use by the sound of it
