Fantastic value at £29.99. I didn't need another pair, but at that price bought one anyway.

Shame they only have small sizes though (I had to pay £60 for the newer ones)

In the shop they have a much wider range of sizes. Give them a ring to check, or pop in. The small sizes on't'internet wouldn't be any good for me either, but they did have have my size in stock.

    Re: Mizuno Wave Harrier 2

By way of resurrecting this thread, I've now reverted back to using Harriers as my favourite shoe after starting to get blisters in my walshes. I've run 2 22m long runs in them with no blisters, sore spots or any other foot problems. I'm starting to really rate this shoe now. Not super grippy in very poor conditions, but more than adequate and the comfort more then compensates for that in my book and they beat inov8 hands down on cost with even the brand new ones available for £50 (as opposed to £70+ for inovs).

Got a few more races to try for a fuller picture but it looks like these will become my shoe of choice.

I still think they're great all-rounders for longer runs.
But I've had some spectacular falls in slippery conditions.

Anybody know what the toe-heel drop is on the Harrier 3? Can´t find that info anywhere...

No idea, but I don't think it's too much. They're quite low profile and feel a little like racing shoes to me

Always liked mine with the exception of feeling like an ice skater on wet rock - without the talent. However, I had a poke (ooer) at the new red Harriers 3's in Lakes Runner at weekend, & the sole definately felt like is was now softer / grippier - has anyone tried them?

Ooo, new red ones! I have the blue Harrier 3 and they feel the same almost as the red Harrier 2 I had before. The red Harrier 3 must be the same as the blue Harrier 3. New shoes always feel softer than a pair with 200 miles, maby tahts why?
