It was a real power course and i couldn't believe how quickly the field was leaving me behind, you need to be a strong ascender to get anywhere on that course and i'm not. Bad luck to the KCAC guy who tried to sprint me to the line, i always save a bit for a dying seconds attempt on my position definitely there next year.
Madness hey? Welcome to the world of BOFRA! :-) Find the steepest hill and "race you to the top and back". That's why I love the races. Glad you enjoyed it. I wish I was there today but I had some jobs to do at home so I popped out on the bike instead. (Wasdale Head Show training!) Ted had a good run in a good time to take the win.

I think I did? I went to the left as soon as I crossed the wall and followed the track down, is that the one you meant?

Yeah that's it, cuts out that annoying reedy section where overtaking's a bit awkward.

Anyone get any pictures at this race? I saw a few people taking pics but haven't found any online as yet. None on the BOFRA site yet either

Si Bailey took the win in a good time. Just over 13mins.

Stagger took Teds line and made a right hash of it.

I wondered what he was doing the first time i saw that line, but he only lives a stone's throw away so probably recce'd over and over again. Personally i'd never attempt it due to the risk, what lies beneath the heather could do you a life changing injury.
