Very expensive, dont really understand inov8s motive here in bringing out road shoes, i like the purely off road only moto. Going to be very hard for them to compete in a thriving road shoe market where you can pick up a good pair of road shoes from the running leaders like nike and acics for say 60 quid not many folk will be willing to pay 90-100 !!
I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.

There's a huge market for road running shoes. Much bigger than the (albeit rapidly growing) off-road one. Even a tiny share would probably be equivalent or greater than their current turnover. I think that what they've done is clever i.e. try and find a 'technical' niche, 'natural', primarily racing, shoes. As such they're not competing directly with Air Peg or Gel Cumulus, which are 40quid for last year's model

Anyway if God had wanted us to run on tarmac he wouldn't have invented grass (and rock, scree, mud or peat). I won't be buying any

But there are very few flat-ish road shoes out there. Saucony are bringing out the A4 in Feb 2011 which has 4mm differential but other than that you're looking at 12mm minimum in most brands. Having said that, the F-lite 195 is cheaper and fine on roads so I'll be sticking to that (although I do quite fancy a yellow pair of shoes).
