I must say it's quicker / easier to complete a Parkrun than to complete the 'SparkLE' survey. :closed:

To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
Visiting the family this weekend and I ran the Leamington Spa Park Run, surprisingly there was a big hill in the middle of it! I felt bloody awful and nearly threw up at the end. Field was where near as fast as in Manchester I was about 13th or 14th and about 30 seconds outside my pb due to illness. Lots of kids running though, which was nice to see.
Compared to Platts Field it was like Ben Nevis! It was me who was 'chicked' on the climb, she likes a natter your Mrs, she kept going on about tactics or something after I went past her after the top of the climb. I passed a bit close and said sorry, but she just went on and on and on and on and on and on. I reckon she'd be sub 16 if she tried a bit harder :w00t:
Platt Fields is very flat, my PB course. I said to one of the race directors later that day I would prefer the steeper part of the climb to go down, rather than up,just to make it a bit more fun. I don't think the Leamington course is anywhere near as tough as Woodbank or Bramhall Park though.
