Tao begets one. One begets two. Two begets all things.
very nice though grouse only eaten it once or twice mind you.
I think i would try eating horse if it were offered, but I would feel a bit funny about it, just because I am not programmed to think of horses as food - but what the heck

i wouldnt eat it now as i dont eat any meat at all
horsemeat , oh yeah they take a few choice cuts just prior to turning dobbin into superglue
Wouldn't want to 'saddled' as a horse meat eater, it'd make me jumpy.I'd be straight out of the starting gates at a race, fetlocks shining. Thats the 'mane ' thing, trot on!
Yes I have in Holland and France, would happily eat it again although I don't eat as much red meat these days.
Bill my sentiments would go a bit further, 95% of the meat I eat at home is from either a free range or wild ie venison, grouse, Rabbit, pheasant. This is cheeper than chicken at our local farm shop Not found any one that sells squirrel yet, but would like to try.
Also eaten Giraffe, Zebra, Ostretch, Eland, and crocodile while in Africa, but would draw the line at dogs as I've heard the meat is a bit ruff
The local butcher has started selling goat, made a goat curry last night, very tasty
Lots of people are becoming desensitised to the idea of meat as 'an animal' - it's all down to the clinical packs it comes in from tesco!
I've tried horse, dog, snake, bamboo rat etc and can't see a difference between these and chicken or pork since they were all bred for the same purpose.
The mongolian restaurant in Milnsbridge (near huddersfield) does ostrich, kangaroo and crocodile. Oh and quorn pieces which are just as nice!
