A very eclectic mix took to the fells this evening. From Penistone as twas their run, joined by Dark Peak (Me) Barnsley harriers(although no sign of the Ginge Whinger) some Glossopdale I believe. 12 in total
A steady run out on a head torcher trying to get some air in to my ailing lungs.
From the top of the Woodhead pass-Lady Cross-Round hill-Howden edge-Horse stones- Skarrett Stone (Yes we found it in the dark)- Loftshore Well and back to cars.
Very icy underfoot but a lovely night if you kept going.

Excellent evening race/run organised by Charlie of KCAC across Ponden Kirk, several forumites there, DT, K1M, Brett, the man who used to be mapper, Hugh Jarse and the reborn Swift a fine figure of a man who guilted me into social pint. Oh and I ran a blinder - was delighted.

Roving calendar box was passed by many but perhaps unbeknown to them. About 30 out, 7 mile course 5 CP's any order.
Loads of forumites.
Grim tonight, usual Foel Goch loop, dense cloud, strong winds..reduced to a slow jog for much of the run..good to get out..

6 x 150ft hill reps on Beamsley Beacon. Was going to do more, but then I remembered its Wadsworth Trog at the weekend
