What's this, Romantic - running - in Yorkshire, steady on woman, going for a drink in Swan is OK, but the rest, don't like the sound of that, what's world coming to.

Did my usual evening headtorcher up Rooley moor and across to Cowm quarry, heavy rain with streams running down Rooley, most tracks heavy with water and very wet every where. My third torcher this week with the new light and i'm well impressed with it. Can't wait for the postman to bring the next one.
Or was it tonight's wild swim by torch light?
Loved the climb upstream especially the waterfall (I'm assured it's usually a path!) and gave a passing nod to the mouse that swam across just in front of me on the way back down!

About 3ml / 550ft of mud, chips, rain, mini pizza, Hope headtorchs, moorland, Ram Tam and past its best Gore-tex, with streams for paths, out with your mates. A perfect Wednesday evening in other words :closed:

Where did you get to, and how many turned out? I was working so couldn't get there. Went with me dawg the night before but just along the canal. Mebbe go for a jog round Fewston res on way home tonite, we'll see...
There were 3 folk on the road plus 6 headtorchers. We ran up to the pinnacle, on for a bit, across the moor and back down following the wall (past where we turned right last week to go 'exploring'). The paths were unbelievably wet. Free food was mini-pizza / pies things and chips

Full moon tonight and a clear sky (well there is here in Yorkshire). Could be a good night for a run out
