Looking forward to Sunday.... any local knowledge about trail conditions and tyre choice? Was planning to ride my Gary Fisher Carbon Hi Fi Pro with tubeless Nobbly Nics at a nice low pressure.... it's either that or the Sanderson Life singlespeed or the crosser, neither of which would be conducive to a particularly good time.

SS was ok for me last year, but then I'm not quick like thee! I seem to think that you won't need the tyre pressure too low. Mostly quite a quick course with a few 'whoops' and little jumps thrown in. I reckon you'll do well. Enjoy!

I can be a bit slippy up on the top of the course where is come angled slate in the track
and a bit of a greasy dropoff but nothing that technical scratting for grip on the crosser last year i wouldn't run low pressures there is quite a bit of fire road

Cracking day out... runs were a bit tame underfoot but had plenty of climb. Had a really good clear blast on the bike and had so much fun I had to keep reminding myself I was racing. Managed 5th overall in 1:53ish... will probably do the Grizedale race too and maybe Newlands.
