    Stress at work

Well, that does it, the vindictive cows I have the misfortune to work with have won .
Doctors app.tomorrow and a long spell off with stress/depression for me.
Get out running and get myself fit again and b****cks to work for a while.
Life is too short to get totally stressed with work.

Nobody lay on their deathbed wishing they had spent more time at work. F*** them.

    Re: Stress at work

It's hard these days, i'm 3 months into a new job and want to create a good impression but don't want to end up like one lad who's been there 18 years, totally stressed out cos of the workload they put on him. It's always the hard workers that suffer and the lazy b@st@rds never get hassled. Also seems like they want more work for less money!
Respect your decision LR, good luck mate

I have been through this mate. Just because you might feel better after a few weeks away from work dont be tempted
to rush back because its more than likely that the same shit will be waiting for you. I went back too early and only lasted
2 days before i went off again.

My GP kept badgering me to take Citalopram but i was dead against taking anything like that. In the end to keep him quiet
i let him prescribe me some but never took any.

Good luck mate and take care

LR, chin up! Some people treat work like the set of Dallas with plots and skullduggery. I reckon it is because they have nothing else in their sad little twisted lives! Why can't they leave you alone to get on with the job!
Get out on to the moors and maybe even use the time to look for another job with colleagues who don't think the work place is the set of Dynasty!

Never a truer word said. They are exactly like that at my place, it's a nightmare. Handed my notice in last November, boss wanted me to stay, I did but on a much more reduced contract - I suppose I am fortunate enough to be able to do that. Ever since though my whole attitude to the place changed, I now ignore the 'witches of eastwick' and 'swampthing' and let whatever they say go over my head and work to LIVE - something they have yet to discover.
