Get out running and get myself fit again and b****cks to work for a while.
Life is too short to get totally stressed with work.

Life's too short to let the bar-stewards grind you down.

Good luck Leeds Rhino. 15years ago I was was that stressed at work I remember holding on to a bench for fear of falling over I was shaking that much. It won't happen again

Some decent advice on here. Get out of work environment and slowly unwind

Theft is the biggest problem at my work; theft of my milk, theft of my tomato sauce, theft of my tools, i think i'm missing a tupperware box too. Someone even nicked 4 quid from a charity box once. The place is manned almost exclusively by agency temps, most of whom have no limits.

Get out on to the moors and maybe even use the time to look for another job with colleagues who don't think the work place is the set of Dynasty!
You have it bang on there Rodders, nothing else in their sad little lives. My parting shot was,on the advice of my union, to report them for harassment which I have duly done .
thanks for your support everyone. And I look forward to my Monday morning run !!

    Re: Stress at work

Just remembered a line from one of the Lethal Weapon films, 'I don't give a sh!t, that's why i don't have a stomach ulcer, cos i know when to say i don't give a sh!t'
Has sustained me through many a stressfull time at work.
It always amazes me how some folk can't get on with the job without bitching, backstabbing and crawling, as someone said earlier they've nothing else going on in their sad little worlds.
I just like to go to work, crack on, do a good job, have a bit of a crack and then feck off and have a life.
