    Yes , easter and christmas cacti can get out of sync with the seasons, they need their 'rest' period, Dr Hessayons Houseplant Expert describes it all well, usually at a car boot near you. Along with The Dandy 1972, Ratchet sets and some seriously deformed animal ornaments.

    I was kidding, but it's true that it has stopped flowering at Christmas, and I recently gave it some baby bio which seems to have perked it up a bit - why is baby bio a no no, Monty?
