I don't think either of them were there. I didn't see either.

Just to clear up the confusion. Lloyd Taggart was not there although he had an entry. Natalie White wasn't there either although she too pre-entered. Sightings of Natalie White might have been confused with club colleague Mary Wilkinson i.e. Very fast, slim, dark short haired Bingley Harrier flying down Penyghent.

Lloyd and Jackie ran at Knockdhu on Saturday.

Lloyd won the race and Jackie was in the Welsh team. The results can be accessed via the Scottish Hillrunners website.

Yes,that's right I couldn't run due to injury so Mary took my number under the substitutes rule -also went a lot faster than I could of !

It's also the first time that I've marshalled in a back garden( just near the finish for all of you spaced out ruuners that came past ).

Ahh were you the one on the corner who said "only 30 seconds to go", if so I've a complaint it took 37!

Thanks Marvin, I thought I had seen your face before, and it must have been from here! Hopefully see you at some of the Goyt Valley series.

    Re: three peaks

Hi everyone. Both hyporunner and Fozzy42 expressed an interest in photos of the race.
I was snapping away on the final slope before Pen-y-ghent summit, so hopefully no-one would have dropped out by then! There's a report on the grough outdoors news website at http://www.grough.co.uk/content/view/381/2/ along with a link to our photo album which can be found at http://www.grough.co.uk/content/view/382/2/. We're still uploading the last few; it's quite a task getting them all on to the website, so keep checking to see if you're there. I hope I haven't broken any protocols with this unashamed plug for our website and if I have, I apologise profusely (but check it out anyway).
I'm a walker rather than a runner, and our site is aimed at the general outdoors community, so excuse us is we don't seem completely in the know about running matters. Feel free to enlighten us!
If anyone's taking part in the Fellsman in a couple of weeks, I'll be among the staff on the final checkpoint at Yarnbury. Say hello if you get that far!
