Approximately 10 miles and 16 miles. I'm sure a GPS obsessive will be along in a minute to tell me I'm wrong .

They will take into account experience of other endurance events e.g. LAMM/OMM Elite, A, B or equivalents. I think they will be looking for competitive times in these tho.

I've just come off the back of the Mountain Trial as my first qualifier, which surely counts as two races in one . I'm on the OMM B this year and planning to maybe do the Roaches or some other in Nov to make sure I qualify.

I'd be interested in a recce, post some dates here as I need some prep time, as I'll be travelling up from Norfolk.

Thanks for all the replies, 16 miles in 3hs 30 would be cutting it really fine......... have to think about it.

Take it from me, its perfectly possible to get to Hill Inn comfortably within the cut off and still run a miserable race; my wheels always fall off about a mile on from Hill Inn

    I am that obsessive.

Ribblehead checkpoint 11.4 miles (2038 ft ascent) and Hill Inn 16.7 miles (3616 ft ascent) from start.
