I use some windstopper mitts which are toasty, and I've some waterproof pile ones. Buffalow mitts are excellent even when wet.

Not sure what brand the Fleece mitts are, they're in my rucsac which is in the car as I'm off out early tomorrow, i'll have a look when i get home, the water proof mitts were by a Company caller Mountain Range but they don't seem to exist any more, Did find a few things on Ebay and Terra nova do some serious mitts

Got fed up looking for fleece mitts in outdoor shops so took an old lightweight fleece top i had to local sewing/adjustment shop and ey presto 2 pair made out of knackered[but good quality] jacket for £5, that was 3 years ago wear 1 pair for work other pair for running both still going strong, obviously in extreme temps will still get cold hands but still better than £30 gloves ive had

    Re: Cold hands

I just bought some Buffalo pile mitts and a pair of Icebreaker merino glove liners... I have worn the liners with summer MTB gloves on the MTB on Sunday and hands were warm :w00t: Not tried the Buffalo mitts yet, the idea was to team them up with the merino glove liners for extra warmth...

I also have an issue with keeping my feet warm on the bike, so have now ordered a pair of waterproof winter MTB boots, in a final attempt to not have to abandon rides due to extremely painfullt cold feet...
