    HHH
The choose your own route thing sounds just fine! I might have a sniff around over new year, there doesn't seem to be many races on that take my fancy. I'd say it'd be 50/50 ridge or scree looking at the map...

Mr B, The Fairmile Downhill race usually is staged at minute intervals if this is the case for Yarlside you could get up there for the first slot and get back up for the final slot and do both routes :w00t:

Come come now Mr HHH, surely this should have read "30 mins long for me and up to an hour for the rest of you."

    Brilliant suggestion....

Hang on a minute.... Fairmile Downhill? When is that one held? Having just done the Jubilee Plunge I've decided I like this downhill racing lark!

Sorry, but you've missed it. It was very low key. We held the downhill at Fairmile for a couple of years, but we've moved it to Cautley for this year as the parking is better. Plus, there was too much uphill for a downhill course.

My ancient and long standing tradition of picking up an injury at a critical point in the race calendar has born fruit again. Give me f***ing strength Saint Norman, deliver me from this evil.

That's a shame Mr B, was thinking of running a few of these kwl races, and not that you'd know me from Adam, but we've been finishing similar over the recent short stuff. You finished right behind me at Dunnerdale (shook hands at the finish) and you beat me on the downhill at Wansfell, would've been interesting to see how I fared against you on these 'uns.

Can anyone give me an idea of the route for the Scout Scar race on Sunday? Cheers.
