    Peak District weather

Anyone up on Kinder yesterday ?

Planning an early Saturday trek from Hayfield up William clough down Snake Path and back over Jaggers to Edale and Jacobs Ladder.

Might change the plan to Goyt Valley though if its too icy on Kinder

The Pennine guys and girls were up there last night. Nobody mentioned anything about it being difficult going. Don't think there's any significant snow up there.

I'd just go for it if I were you.

    Re: Peak District weather

Just been up Kinder. Parked up in Hayfield and went up the steep path to the right of William clough. Was going to carry on down Snake Path but it was bitterly cold and foogy on the top so I wimped out. Instead I went across past Mill Hill to the Grouse, down the hill and back over Middle Moor to the reservoir.

Was ok underfoot, had one fall near the reservoir but not too bad.

Looked like it was clearing on the tops by the time I got down.
