It has and I fear Howden is going the same way, lots of green grass every where, a couple of years and it may look the same I'm all for ecology to save the moors from erosion etc but this is unnatural.
We went to the two wreck off Black moss and it was unrunnable.

Sorry about previous misinformation , just checked village hall booking and due to village pantomine we will be week earlier than usual.
From what I've seen of most fell races, the two events will be indistinguishable.

    Really sorry about this but-
Due to a technical error we have lost all entries made before Saturday 15th November. We sincerely apologise for this. If you made an entry before 10AM on Saturday 15th November, please could you forward your entry confirmation email back to us at [email protected]. (note this email often gets filtered into your spam box) It will have all your entry details listed at the bottom of the email, so we can manually reinstate your entry. It would however really help us if you could make your entry online again before the end of November. Please note there's no need to write in lots in for experience if you have done HPM before, but if not just list a couple of recent long fell/ ultra races or mountaineering experiences.

Very sorry- this hasn't happened before. We will back up the system everyday from now on.
Here's to the laid back fell runner...

Is it worth emailing people who've entered (successfully or not) in recent years, in case they've tried again?

Was any one out reccying today, near outer edge?

if so I was the runner flashing passed in a dark peak race.

The bogmonster was ferocious tody claiming one runner up to his neck!!! he had to swim out. He was a bit shook but seeing as he was in the lead and I was second he soon bucked up when he saw me...

The Retford boys were out and saw you flash past :-) Dave also had an encounter with the bog monster but only waist deep for him.
