Oh I meant getting up very early to cheer the runners on and posting up the results. Hope Zephr did well.

I was the guy on the road who ran passed heading to high Neb who congratulated Stolly for wearing shorts like me
Ha!
Well done to all the finishers, I believe it's the first time 7 teams finished in under 10 hours, 3 teams broke the mixed record. a quality field.
Well done to all. I do believe Debs from Accelerate was in the winning ladies team?
Cyclops....fancy this next year?
Anyone got the full results?
Well done to all those who ran.
great race, lots of amusements, and my legs are a little worse for wear.
Those of you who did it, well done! You know what it was like.
For those that didn't run it, this is my experience. - Thanks to cyclops for the photos.

Quite an epic run.
Great write up Zephr. Sound like you had a good time? You'll be back next year then...
I did enjoy it, the only thing that was annoying was that you have vast tracts of beautiful countryside that you could be looking at, and it was pitch black with minus visibility. I'll probably do it in the summer, but as for next year... well, it depends if my team gets in (didnt this year) and if anyone drops out at the last minute. Id hate to have to do months of preperation!
A big thank you to all the students and old students who organised and helped this year, great event with some unusual clothing to match.
ps hope your ankle ok dan( dutch peak does laugh weirdly)
a big thanks to all out there now my head is a bit fresher. esp to the students on the hill for there encouragment. Always a good day out and full of surprises.
Tim looking at your track at Bleaklow stones did that little trip North take you to the CP, if so it was about 300ft from it's normal spot. We got there in the pitch black with 5-10m vis and couldn't pick up my usual line. also you were fortuanate that the Wainstones Cp wasn't at Wainstone as you would have had to backtrack having gone down the PW. that wasn't a major issue as it was on line with your approach.
I imagine though that those runners new to the area having reccied the route/cp would have been a bit confused.
any way those marshall are definitely appreciated as they are out there for a long time. well done guys.
