I don't know the name of the teams but two Penistone guys(Jonh R and Mark P) did the Cutgate to William Clough leg then dropped in to Hayfield and met up for a lift home after the trial

I guess I was talking to IanRowbottom
Not sure about the good looking I guess it depends which side your bread is buttered But he's certainly faster than me

I'm out. Arm is still broken after 13 days, the doc seemed suprised whenI asked has it healed? :-)

Bad news may have cast for 8 weeks, but its now a half cast. Anyway decided not too do the HPM, if its frozen I'll be in trouble, and will struggle climbing in and out of peat hags.

    Re: High Peak Marathon

What's the position on car support for this?

I'm not running now so was considering driving around and waiting at the road crossings with food and water?

    Is this allowed?

I know there's only a few road crossings anyway, but I'll be in the area so thought I may as well go along?

    Cheers

I've just had a look at the rules they sent out - rule 4 states no supporters or pacers.
My wife was asking if she could meet up with me on route - I'll have to ask her not too - I don't want to get the team disqualifyed after 30 miles!

Why don't you offer your help to the RO and help the Marshals. As long as you assisting all the teams there con be no favoritism.
