    Three Peaks Qualification

I want to enter the three peaks. I've done Trollers Trot, Rombalds Stride and Burley Bridge 21. I know I'd more than get round but do not have the exact requirements on paper. I know quite a few people who've done it and would be happy to vouch for me. What are my chances?

You will probably be safer doing a couple of FRA races rather than LDWA events.
When I first qualified for 3P I did Winter Hill and Noon Stone, why not give those 2 a go.
Fortunately I can use my 2008 3P for next year.

    Good luck anyway.

Have you tried emailing the organisers to ask the same question?

I'd do as Multiterrainer suggests and email the organiser.

I emailed Bryan Speight a while back and he got back to me the same day. [email protected]

Entries open Jan 10 . Not done it before but I assume it fills up within a day or 2.

Yup definately email them. I didn't technically qualify this year, marathon time not sub 3.20 (only a couple of minutes out), only done one A, & the longer ones were legs of relays, but I reckoned I was capable.
Got an entry fine, & made sure I did plenty of recce'ing to ensure I knew what I was in for - not a true fell race to be fair but far harder than a marathon - by a long chalk!!!
One of the best events I've ever done though, enjoyed every bit of it, even the crap bits when I couldn't run anymore & wanted to lie down & cry!!
finished 249th (just in top half of field) which i was well chuffed with too, so if you think you can manage it, get that email sent

Very helpful as I'm in the same spot. I have done loads of relays including Calderdale. Cheers for your help

I believe that they will count a relay leg - if it's AM - which many are. One of our lads used the pairs leg of the FRA Relays one year.

ive decided on entering this also :-) I assume the route is pretty obvious, or would a recce be needed do ye reckon?

Route is obvious in the main but a recce might be helpful in knowing what to expect

    Re: Three Peaks Qualification

Its a bit of a treck down but I will endeavour to have a trot round at some point, from afar I expect 3 big hills to run up with some long fast bits in between
