We'll be setting off at 9.30 very steadily because we're doing the Heptonstall race the following day. Might be too slow for you though Jez!

Thing is Jez, your steady away pace and my steady away pace are probably a bit different!

Anyway, see you there, and see how it pans out.

The classic simplicity of this route is the real attraction for me; feels Alpine philosophically.
The only one who can tell you "You can't" is you. And you don't have to listen.

I'll be taking it steady as I'll have done Leg 1 C/W of the BG the night before :w00t:

I think running passes feels so different from running ridges and summits. You get a real sense of crossing over. Don't do it often so looking forward to this.

this just popped through from the organisers via email:

Due to unforseed circumstances parking is having to be moved to Seathwaite.Drivers will be ferried back and forth by mini bus. This will obviously cause some delays so please be patient. You can help by arriving early, having as many passengers as possible & using National Trust car park if member of N.T. If you have passengers drop them off ar Rosthwaite. We are doing our best and can only apologise for any inconveniance caused
