Looks good... only problem is that I've already booked the weekends either side for BG training with my superior half. Might have to reopen negotiations.
Good to hear you're thinking about the BG again DT. I've got quite a few recces/training runs pencilled in if you're interested in hooking up, sharing lifts, etc. I'll drop you a PM.

It would be good if the road up honister was out of bounds and people had to ascend via warnscale, I remember from last time I ran up that path it being pretty hard going!
Im going to be taking in this event all things being well, be nice to get some long training in over in the lakes but I dont seem to have a weekend where im not racing this side of easter !!
This one is on my radar too.

Eddie, I did this during a 25 miler whilst CCC training, from Braithwaite over the NW fells to Buttermere, round the lake, up Fleetwith Nose, down to the quarries, back over the BG to newlands Church then some level stuff back to B'waite.
The Nose was new to me, quite steep and rocky in parts, but on a clear day (it wasn't) the situation would be stunning.

The view from the Nose is classic Lakeland. You missed a treat Morgan
Event is week after Haworth Hobble. I'm hoping to do both if I'm around

What are the rules for doing something like this? Im not a member of the LDWA but can map read and navigate easy enough. It would be an ideal day out for someone like me to do without the 'pressure' of being in a true race situation. Can I just enter?
