Does anyone live over there or run on the area. Preston no has no snow, no ice etc and so I am struggl8ng to think whether I will meet snow? Ice? Mud? Or is it back to just standard Hobble conditions

Penistone Hill was scoured of snow by the wind over the weekend and very runnable. It was lovely and mild this morning. Standard Hobbling conditions will be the order of the day I reckon next weekend. Mind there were still the odd drift or two left behind on Saturday

Yes, i shout at people when they arrive. The leader had a whisky today, he had to be talked into it though.

You gave me some stick for declining the whisky. You said the two leaders had some and I was a wuss!

That chewed me up and spat me out I think I finished in about 6.26, 11 minutes slower than last year but that's a total miracle considering that my right leg seized up at about six miles and it was a sufferfest from then on. I guess that's what happens when you decide to run 32 miles with no distance training whatsoever! Still, I enjoyed my whisky and donut at Mankinholes and thanks for the shout out Mr.B.
