Fly, if its hills yer after then fill yer boots. Just do it. And don't bother with TC...its a waste of time and no indication at all of what LM is like!

was in carding mill valley today, was misty on tops but looks like all the snow has gone!!

The Journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step
Long Mynd was my 2nd fell race, Titterstone Clee the previous day was the first. People will terrify you with tales of how tough LOng MYnd is, especially the last 3 climbs, when you get out there you'll realise its' 10 times worse than that. My advise is to pace yourself, you might feel fresh at the start, but theres' no point sprinting up the first hill, you need to conserve as much energy as possible for the 3 big hills at the end. Its' one of the best fell races going, but it demands huge respect. Good luck.
