Navigation Courses

This weekend we ran our first in house(for Dark Peak) training course from Woodhead MR's new training vacility(in fact this was the first course run there) The course was planned for those new to the club or those who just "followed" the group.

Introduction to Navigation.

It incorperated all the usual stuff and got 16 candidates on the hill navigating through 2 courses of differing terrain, building confidence, awareness and technique. We are going talking about running some more and there was a request for a night navigation course.

Feedback so far has been very good.

Talking with the instructors a had good time was had by all.

Sorry for jumping on your thread but thought i may be able to let you know about courses in the lakes and farther afield as well.

As the season starts again after a cold winter again. I thought I would let you know that I am running some more Nav training days mostly based in the Lakes but if you speak to Crash I am willing to travel.
