I have low blood pressure which is not an issue normally.
Recently I've increased my training a lot and have started having bouts of giddy attacks.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something I can do to restore normality?

How low is your BP? Most people who are told they have a low BP actually have a normal BP. Training normally lowers BP but if you are feeling lightheaded when you get up you need to be sure you are eating/drinking enough to make up for the extra calorie/fluid losses of your increased training.

I too have low blood pressure, many comments by doctor etc. Keep eating and drinking little and often and take your time standing up from sitting works best for me
