I see they're is a decent entry of 830odd runners for 2moros race at Sunderland :thumbup: they're must be other forumites doing it apart from myself? Its a good xc course if anyone aint ran it before, plenty of ups and downs and mudgonna be a tough race, cant wait
I'll be there - but not running - team managing and saving ,y legs for Leg 1 of the Pennine on Sunday - where I hope we'll get a top 3 for the A team and a top 30 for the B team.

Today was a long hard run for me and lonely!
Third from the start. I wouldn't have beat the two at front but expected to be a lot closer. Not been 100% this week with a bad throat and it seems it took a but out of me.
But tomorrow is PBW and I can't let John Brown off with an easy run round leg two!!!

Did you see the comment on eightlane saying the Northern lacked depth! I think the front 2 today would have won Southern & Midland - they left some good runners well behind.
for roadrunner see also crosscountry runner! I still had atleast 1km to go when I could hear the tannoy with you coming in!! It was a real pleasure to line up against such good runners today, totally in awe of the front runners, loved the massed start cavalry charge, not had much experience of that on the xc circuit before. How testing was the mud, it was like glue in parts, proper tough underfoot conditions, although perfect air temp with no wind. I thought it was a great xc course and a fantastic event, apparently theres still people trying to get their cars out of the muddy car park though!
