Having tried a winter round 1 month ago I'm going to have another go tomorrow, starting 7pm. Forecast is quite good and there should not be deep snow underfoot like last time. I'm possibly still looking for someone to do leg 1 with as it's harder to get pacers/support mid week, so if you can help let me know! Happy to return the support later in the season.

I also did leg 1 yesterday and agree with andy, the river crossing was not nice. I'm 6ft-1 and the water was almost up to me tenderbits and very flast flowing, I'm glad there was two of us!! Was up on Carrock Fell today and the rain was teeming down all morning. I imagine the Caldew will be very high in the next few days. Take care chaps and good luck.
